From the beginning, it was paramount to the company that their candles are always testament to clean burning. A toxin free, vegan friendly remit allows them to support their consumers in every setting. No matter in what country, what type of home or what particular lifestyle; Arbrook Candles was formed with a clear conscience in mind. Something it still classes as one of its core values. This offering meant incorporating three golden steps into the process: innovation, modification and cultivation. In response, Arbrook Candles’ created Albany, Copsem, Milbrook and Ruxley the founding fragrances.
Meet Jo, Arbrook Candles Founder
Never one to talk about herself, Jo is the brain and the brawn behind Arbrook Candles. On one side, it would be easy to label Jo as a businesswoman, a property specialist, an entrepreneur, a candlestick maker or an innovator. On the other, we could call her a homemaker, a mother, a social butterfly, a dog lover and a sports widow.
However, it is the combination of all the above, complimented by Jo’s unique ability to combine her personal and professional life that have allowed for the creation of Arbrook Candles to take shape. Focussing on an offering that is more than a product, but also a service – an exclusive combination.
Using her previous experiences in property, Jo has been able to combine her business acumen surrounding her target market, customer relations and branding to create a high quality, affordable product. One that is personal to her, the proud area of Claygate, and not forgetting the enjoyable scents of the surrounding natural beauty of the Surrey Hills. Jo’s individual experiences have laced the product identities. Creating aromas that are more than just a scent, but offer a true sense of sensibility to any atmosphere or situation they are required for.

Arbrook Candles originated from the sustainable instinct of its creator, Jo. Remelting fruitless, leftover wax from renowned brands, Jo realised not only could she make a candle last longer, but she could combine aromas and shape it in a much more effective manner. Her home was instantly filled with a new energy and essence, rather than simply a good smell.
A natural initiator, Jo enjoyed experimenting with different wicks, the amalgamation of diverse scents and the satisfaction of designing a candle that could cope with the multiple needs of a home. After days, weeks and months of research and refining; Arbrook Candles was created.
Beginnings
Based in Surrey, England where she walks her dogs in Arbrook Woods; Jo, is testimony to the belief that passion and knowledge are a powerful combination that can conquer the globe.
Arbrook Candles have a unique ability to let you know when you are home. Those nurturing English essences embezzled in all of their scents, makes these candles timelessly exclusive.
